    5:31 this drunk bloke hit me in the face, and I did a triple straight punch, quick and direct to his centreline, I didn't think I would use it wing chun in a real combat situation, and the last one I put a hsing yi twist in it, he screamed like a girl and i didn't even finish the last punch properly cos the last one got interrupted by his scream, it scared the shit out of me, I thought I killed him, he buckled straight away, they were peircing punches, I got scared and doubled back, and just warned him in verbal anger not to hit me in the face. I never new why I always trained the centreline, in forms, drills ETC. And that day I under stood the centreline. I'm scared of attacking, bcos, before wingchun I just probaly would of threw helicopter hay makers, and just scraped him and just pisee him off, but wingchun nearly killed him, and he respected me after that, it felt like at the end of the fearless (jetli movie) when he hit that master in the restaurant, on his birthday, he hit his heart, and killed him, and then he done it to the jap at the end, and pulled up halfway through it, and the jap felt the internal power, and thought that would could of killed me if he, eliminated that he felt it.

    This is just stupid, complex language from cracks in bones. White superiority through racist evolutionary theory.

    • @DL_UK
      @DL_UK 16 часов назад

      Can you elaborate?

    • @user-dw1jp7tp6i
      @user-dw1jp7tp6i 15 часов назад

      @UCKU5rnoy2IysEfIpH1M64PA Sure but there's plenty of literature on linguistics as well as what cultures themselves say about their own language. As for the racism that is part and parcel to evolutionary anthropology and one huge foundation is that these cultures arose in isolation while the truth is that China and the middle east had been in contact and trade since the BC period and were well aware of the Assyrians and Babylonians and Greeks and Romans all of whom were pressing east to extend their empires. Zoroastrianism had been in China already and after that the Christians, Muslims, and then the Mongols swept east and west. Meanwhile the Indian empires and the Khazars of the stepps had existed alongside the Chinese. The chief influence among all these cultures was astrology and the metaphysics were not very different than any other civilization, you will find exactly the same discussion on the same subjects among the Greeks. While the Chinese "alphabet" is not purely phonetic the phonetic elements are part of it because the characters represent words and this would have had to exist before anything resembling them could have been "seen" in the cracks of bones.

      @@user-dw1jp7tp6i What exactly was you referring to as stupid?

    • @user-dw1jp7tp6i
      @user-dw1jp7tp6i 14 часов назад

      @@DL_UK Most of it, although honestly I didn't watch all of it because the reductive premise was so faulty. Let me ask you a question, how far back in history does Chinese writing go? Bronze age? Well how far removed from ugaritic is Chinese if civilization began in the fertile crescent? As these people spread out they kept in contact. This was also the case in the Americas. This is not a presumption of Greek supremacy but the history the theory is working from doesn't consider what influence the Chinese had on the Greeks either. What do the ancient Chinese texts say about their own languages and dialects? This speculative history created to agree with evolutionary anthropology was created for western colonial expansion and succeeded through the CCP and the cultural revolution because it separated the Chinese from real history. Was that a success or just stupid?

    • @DL_2024
      @DL_2024 14 часов назад

      @@user-dw1jp7tp6i i think the video got better as it went on. i have no idea how old chinese writing is, because (like you seem to be saying yourself) history has been rewritten by those in power today. show me a man who knows ancient history, and i'll show you either a liar or a shadowy cartel member. is it a success? if you mean the rewriting of history, well most people believe it so i guess that makes it at least a partial success for the architects of it. was it stupid? i think it's quite the opposite - a highly intellectual scheme. maybe unwise from a peace-seeker's perspective, but definitely intellectual

    one thing you fail to mention is shifting and footwork for torque. To me the shifting to generate torque is what this movement is about. Without the proper foundation of legs and footwork the arm movements have no power. When you can shift at your own centerline while moving forward or backward you can get off line and generate torque for power. That to me is what the Chum Kiu form is all about, the footwork and rotation of the torso about the centeine to generate power and getting offline to avoid attacking power. "rolling with the punches" think of the drum technique popularized by the movie the karate kid. That drum is a principle beyond a Childs rattle toy or instrument. It is all about centerline and torque to make power for both offense and defense at the same time.

    Centuries ago, fighting styles were very localized and suited to local environments. Why? Because modes of transportation were very slow. Today, people can travel different parts of the world within hours. Martial arts today is evolving with many sticking to traditional forms while others are mixing it up using and blending all different forms using only what suits them best then calling and naming it their own.
